I shall never buy another toyota product.

They lied about what?

You had a deposit on two cars or one?

Why did you have to get a new salesman?

The cars haven't even been available for 6 months. How did they sell the car then make you wait 6 months?

They lied to me about why I was not offered my second color option, they lied to me that they did not know what color I ordered, they lied to me about when they were supposed to get an update on car allotment.

I had to get a new salesman because the one I had NEVER once contacted me, always gave the run around, ordered the wrong color, was a complete POS.

I put my deposit down in march and I didn't take delivery of the car until the last day of July; granted I knew there would be some wait, but the shit they put me though was insane.

It sounds like you absolutely love corporations, so congrats on that. While I do love my car, having to deal with Scion/Toyota has been a complete joke. You can keep loving them and have faith that they are perfect, but I will never again return to that dealer for anything. At least this car is 90% Subaru so when my warranty runs out I can just go to their dealers to have my car worked on.

You lost my sympathy when you tried to insult him with those remarks lol. I'm sure he doesn't blindly love all corporations? He's just happy that his dealership is fighting for him with corporate and that he's receiving some good customer service.

I'm not going to comment on what you sound like, but it's one thing to air your complaints and grievances and another to turn around in the same breath and insult someone else for being pleased with their good service.

Couldnt help but wonder about the disgruntled customer above...didn't you sign a purchase contract when you placed the deposit? If so, I believe the colour selection would have been there in writing plain and clear. That would make any claims to the contrary on the seller's part a moot point.

Perhaps someone got a bit overy excited/agitated and it escalated from there?

Contracts never lie, it's all black and white.

Are you a First 86er? All of us got the car as well. Its pretty fun.

Tanuki 08-29-2012 03:21 PM

Yeah I was just wondering the full situation as it seemed like you were having a hard time giving us details. I wondered the same thing about the contract as well.

I don't love corporations, but I do have faith that they can fix things when needed. It takes a little extra effort to get what you want, but you also have to treat them the way you want them to treat you.

I am not. That is really cool that they did that for the first 86ers though.

I really want the poster they gave the first 86ers though and would be willing to buy yours if its still in tact.

That RC is Awesome! It's a Five:AD Edition Raven. Would be perfect if it had the R5:F wheels. Would be an exact of my car.

All my free stuff is on display in my house with all my spare car parts from my project civics. I use my spare rims as End tables with oval glass on them :)
