Know how I know you’re going to blow up you’re engine?

Personal experience?

I've noticed this as well. It's usually popular with the younger enthusiasts. As well, when I first went to a meet out here there were 2. Last meet there were 5 or 6 of them. It's super frustrating not just because it's annoying but it brings a bad light to the community. But, at least here, I think it's just a 'cultural' thing about whose more tough or whatever they gotta do to feel better.

“Enthusiasts”. It’s a mating call.

Oh, did you blow off a muffler back in the day?

"Pops", more like "POWS" used to be easy, back in the day. Just cut the ignition, pump the carb a couple of times, push the accelerator all the way to the floor - then, turn the ignition back on - :D

OR - for a more lasting affect, just switch a couple of spark plug wires -

This went about as I expected.

Ok, I'll help.

First: plug in your tuning device.
Second: turn key to 'on'.
Third: flash 'stock' tune file.
Fourth: turn key to 'off'.
Fifth: unplug tuning device.
Sixth: toss tuning device in trash.
Seventh: ???
Eighth: Profit

Wrong def.

I'm no tuning expert but that table looks like it'd run like shit, which I presume is the intention with a pop tune, so... I don't see the problem?

I am not 100% certain, but I believe if you try opening a tune with the incorrect def it will do this. Someone must have tweaked a base OTS tune for him based on the file name, but the file he has isn't based on the OTS rom def anymore.
