I'm honestly spoiled, I've only driven DCT or SMG for the last 10 years or so and left foot braking is second nature to me. To the point I was looking for dog boxes for the LS, but the cost is silly. BMW 6MTs run almost half what a T56 or TR6060 do, but haven't seen much for adapter plates to an LS in the US market.

Looking around for FA20s, holy crap they aren't cheap.

Yeah this is the only car they’re in unfortunately:/ looking at 2-3k

Found one at LKQ for $2500 in Texas and emailed my contact with them, but most of the ones listed on car-part are north of $4k. I'm not surprised in the current market, a lot of BMW engines I noticed are 40-60$ higher than what they were listed for a year ago.

Kind of what I figured. Talking to a local guy and will probably pick up an L33 this weekend for $500 and a second from LKQ for about $750. I can get the conversion and fab done with it and have a spare motor for cheap.

I've been reading through your first build and leaning towards the HTE-Rs, going to sit in some next week. Do you see any issues with fitting them in full cage?

@Dave-ROR has them in his full caged FRS!

I have HTE-R 400s which have a narrower halo. I suspect the normal ones would fit also though but thats going to be cage dependant. I had my cage built for maximum clearance up top.

I used a 22 to crank the engine on my hydrolocked 2014 scion frs. I didnt even use a breaker bar cuz it turned all the way which was a huge relief. My frs flooded in 18 inches of water. It was so bad that my car started floating and i got out cuz water was up to my waist. After the flood i towed it home. Took out the spark plugs and cranked the engine. Oooooweeeee! water was coming out of the spark plug holes like a waterfall. Iam very lucky i managed to save my frs.
