Imho frequent bumper swapping prior/post trackdays will need excessive redundant work, also probably worth investing in some extra quick release kit, as from remounts tabs on bumper cover probably will soon wear off resulting in sagging bumper. Sidemarker indicator lights mount also is not very durable. If you want to protect eg. paintwork on bumper from cones, imho simpler to apply painter tape over, like many auto-x-ers do.

Not worried about paint. Track bumper would probably have a very aggressive aero that I won’t need on the streets.. I’m aware of the extensive labor to swap bumpers and the brittle components on these bumpers. I’m just looking at what my options are. Should I buy a newer bumper or get another of what the care came with. Another reason for the newer number is simply I like the look of it.

Thanks

If for track use, investigate also if for it are available brake airduct inlet options (in eg. foglight bezels), not just splitter.

Just a toy to keep myself occupied... but yes I have 2.5” holes on both sides to accommodate some air for the brakes.. also have holes up front to let more air in for the intercooler and oil cooler..
