Had an ecohitch on my previous FR-S with a Kuat rack. Worked great.
On my current BRZ I’m using the Slambert Twin Mount with a 1Up tray. Nice option if you don’t want a hitch. http://www.slambertperformance.com/shop/twin-mount |

thats pretty much the same as a 150$ hitch and $400 bottom load rack.
Anything of the cheap choices will cost you more in the long run...:P |
I have a Sea Sucker I've used for many years and though it makes me nervois, it has never let me down. Slambert Twinhitch also has a new thing with a couple bolts and no hitch. You just put a standard roof tray across the two long bolts that stick out the back of your car. I'd go for that if I still rode all the time.

The Twin Hitch is a bolt on hitch mount. The Twin Mount is the new bike specific option. http://www.slambertperformance.com/shop

@haloterence - the Slambert folks are very nice - I hit them up on Facebook with some questions and they responded within a day. If you go with a 1Up tray, get the standard mount with 2” bolts.

Maybe you should sell it and get a Mini Van or get a Station Wagon. Seems more your type of car with a bike rack. Or you could get a folding bicycle and put it in the trunk...Bike racks don't go on this type of car.

next you're gonna say i can't go to home depot in the car!

https://imgur.com/a/HBLL0A3 I have 2 folding bikes and only 1 fits in the trunk, the other doesn't fit through the trunk opening without taking the pedals off first. Quote:
