Agree with all points. To pick a car up from the front with a forklift means it would have to have about 10 foot long forks. The leverage alone would be incredible and it would have to be huge.

The forks in the picture were giant, and it was one of those giant yellow bulldozers with the fork attachments

Yeah it's a shame. I looked under the car it looked okay, gonna go pickup a low profile jack so I can actually get it up. Harbor freight okay for the job?

Thank you! Considering the deal I got and the fact that it's really good mechanically I'm not going to let that ruin the car for me. First things first is getting a backup cam in my rear view mirror, I can't see anything!

Adjust your side mirrors properly, and you'll be amazed at how complete a picture you can get. When I drove mine home for the first time, I was freaked by what I thought were unavoidable blindspots. Not so. Keep your sides out farther than your instinct tells you, so stuff flows into your sides just as it leaves the field of view of your rearview, and you'll find that a cam is superfluous.

If you'ee going to be under the car, even briefly, get jackstands too. Non-negotiable.

Yup I have a pair just needed the jack. I ended up getting it up and everything was perfect under there, apart from a broken tab on the bumper

Wow that's very unfortunate. Glad that you are still able to enjoy it and find a solution despite the car being hit with a forklift!
