No wonder i've been hearing of BRZ owners hearing people say "oh look! it's the FR-S!" Well, DUH, Subaru has done almost nothing to market its car in the US other than its own website and some youtube videos.

If I had to guess, they have a limited production run with almost all their cars selling within 10 days of arriving at dealers (with many accounted for before they even arrive).
If they do an advertising campaign at this point, they're just going to frustrate a lot of buyers who can't get a car in time, which may end up hurting their brand more than helping it.
If it wasn't for the Internet, I would have never even known this car existed.
