Is anyone else surprised by this? I mean I read the rumors and what not, but never thought Toyota Japan would be this dumb/ignorant/short sighted to bring it over as a Scion. I thought it was just some media person trying to create news to stir things up. Just never thought this would actually happen and be a reality.

It almost feels like Toyota broke up with us and said it isn't you, it is us.

Perhaps I'll re-quote you again so you can read your own words.

I took that as all previous Scion models had no factory options. I would like to know what factory options you speak of that they lacked?

Obviously we don't know what options yet since it hasn't been released. PM me in another 9-12 months and I will let you know.

Sure fixed pricing might be great for those first 3-4 months when supply is low compared to demand. But once supply has caught up (when many others + myself would buy) I don't want to have fixed pricing. Let the market bear the price. I for one don't mind haggling since I am fairly good at it. Give me a Toyota damnit!

Also when I think of a Scion the first thing I think of is :barf:

If that came true, Toyota sure know how to trick us :bellyroll:

Sweet, that's what I have been waiting for. I was struggling on choosing between Toyota and Subaru. I think the answer is obvious now. Subaru, here I come.

Can we have it the other way a round?

Edit: The pic show the headlight of Concept 2.

This article by Edmunds Insideline said that the Subaru might be a Europe only thing. Not sure how good their sources are. But I also will move over towards the Subaru side for sure (a sale from me) if this does come out as a Scion. For me Toyota=Subaru >>>>>>>>>>> Scion.

I think the only ones who would be surprised are the MGMT! Remember your Geneva thread! :bellyroll:

Brace for impact people I doubt this is going to be taken lightly by enthusiasts...

You didn't answer my question in that entire paragraph. What factory options? What factory options are you talking about?

You can have an opinion on something, but if you going to make a statement, then make sense about it.

The reliability of a Scion is the same as a Toyota cause it is a Toyota, so I win either way...:)
