Pretty sure they didnt know what they had as they just listed it as a frs coupe.

That is a steal!

Any interest in a modified car?

cars.com is a great source to look. You can usually get a great deal if you are willing to travel a bit and deal with the out of state hassles.

Depends on how much you want to look and how far you want to go.

I just sold mine for $16k flat. Yes I tracked it, yes I had mods, but the car (after putting it back to stock) drove just like the day I got it and still drives like a dream.

At the end, just find a dealer or seller willing to disclose everything. Even minor mods or tracking isn't going to hurt the car.

[quote=Tcoat;2718939]A 10 second search for BRZs shows there are not many around the area. 15s with about the same mileage are going for $20K(ish) though so a 13 should be a little lower.

I think he said the object of his desire is a MY2014, so the dollar slide goes back up a little.

My info is probably worth little, but my 2014 Limited manual had an asking price last October of 23,000 USD with 6800 on the ODO, immaculate and with every extra in the book. For our area, I thought it was an OK price, so I paid it and have been happy ever since. I saw a MY2013 with 39,000 miles on it which looked every mile of it, too. They asked 20,000 USD, but I walked.

Good luck, and you're right not to try to squeeze the last dollar out of the deal. Do what makes you feel okay about the purchase, and happy sliding.

"Get the seller's phone number !?!?" I think you'd do better to get his rap sheet . That crook shouldn't be walking around picking people's pockets!

Hey everyone,

I'm looking at a 2014 WRB Limited Subaru BRZ, 32K miles, clean carfax. Manual Transmission. I'm in Texas.

The dealership "certified" the vehicle, meaning it now has a powertrain (engine and transmission) $0 deductible warranty until January 2021. But I also get a 1.5% interest rate on the loan.

The best price they're willing to give me is $19,700, or $21,300 Out the Door (with Tax, Title, and License).

What do you think of this deal?
Thanks in advance for the insight!

I just got a Black 13 Limited MT with 19k miles on it for 18k (20k with taxes and stuff) not even 12 hrs ago. I think they could do a bit better

Given that it's one year newer plus comes with a $0 deductible power train warranty for 5 years, that price bump doesn't seem so bad? (Unless yours also came with some extra goodies?) I guess it's not manufacturer certified, which would be better.

And in a different market area. The prices can vary by thousands depending on where you are. The whole supply and demand thing still apples to used cars. Don't try to judge value based on other areas it is a trap.

I forgot about the outstanding warranty he has. Mine only came with 1k mile 1 month warranty for no extra charge.

I got my 2014 BRZ Limited with 22k miles for $20k flat two months ago. In Delaware.

Can't agree more.

I drove 3 hours to buy my 13 BRZ. It was 2k less than what's around me, plus less mileage and it also has certified pre-own warranty.

I just paid $18k for a 2014 Limited with 40k miles.
