If you do decide to get the front window tint re-installed, I suggest you be aware of who and what is around you. Just roll them windows down when you think there's a potential cop in the area or just driving through the city. Either way, it's still a risk though. Goodluck!

He is like most people always looking for an out when getting caught for doing something he knew he shouldn't be doing. If you are so worried about having to pay a ticket on your tint you should have either

A. Gone lighter.
2. Got a RX for it.

This is coming from someone who has both his vehicles tinted fairly dark in a state that does not allow under 50%.

That's not true at all, depends on what violation code and ticket was issued. If you're not required to visit a ref, there is usually just a higher price fine to pay to just move on rather than trying for the reduced penalty with correction.

Btw, new plates have nothing going to do with regulating illegal modifications. You live and learn...
