Light mods. I intend to keep the car looking as stock as possible though. Only things I did "cosmetically" are clear side markers, mudflaps, and bottom rear diffuser, all of which are stock items in other parts of the world. Engine wise, it's just a drop-in filter and I might delete the sound tube hose. To add just a touch of personalization, I put some red trims in the interior, changed the shift base from silver to black as it tends to catch the sunlight and causes glare.

I get bored and actually pay attention to such things. |
I voted light mods because I never really have enough 'extra' money to blow on heavy mods (although I may install a supercharger, just on my FRS), California is a PITA when it comes to engine mods, and I like to keep it low-key so I do minimal "make it mine" mods.

Light mods...buuuuuut now that my build is 99% complete, I find myself being tempted to go for more heavier mods...(ex: super or turbo charge, coilovers). This mod addiction never ends. It just goes in a lull until you get bored and restless again.

I had to go with heavy since I have a header + tune and just added coilovers and other suspension bits. |
Now if the twin is not as good performance wise out of the box, would heavy mods take the lead?

Being a young kid you would expect me to be into heavy mods but I'm going for a lightly modded twin. This is my daily driver and I skipped out buying the car of my dreams because of this cars reliability and how fun to is, eventually this car will see some track time 😬

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 I've liked those cars since I was a little kid (before I ever saw it in fast and furious ) and I found one in perfect condition 1st owner, but knowing so much about those cars I talked myself out of it, they're just not a car j can beat on at the track and drive home with the twins are so I ended up with my frs and I'm satisfied and extremely happy with it, wouldn't change my decision Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I bought my first Mitsu product (well AMC) which was an Eagle talon AWD TSI in 93 and had 3 different lancers since then and although I never really had any issues with any of them an Evo could have been a whole different story. We couldn't have any Evo before the X in Canada anyway so even though I always lusted after them I have never even drove one. I considered an X but liked the idea of the FRS better as a DD. |

I've ridden in one when I was younger being when I fell in love with them, but doing so much research I know a lot about these cars and can be good for a DD for the most part now as a track/DD never. FRS is just perfect for me IMO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
