I am 99% certain your setup is loud because of the front pipe setup.

That would be super loud! Especially with a catless setup. I bet your ears would be thanking you for driving the Camry haha.

Thanks for the reply

ANY chance you have, or could shoot a video of that? Just to give an idea of how loud it is, since I was originally thinking of going with the N1 in combination with a header and Berk catted front pipe.

@sqd I'll try but no promises. It's kind of hard for a video to capture how loud an exhaust set up truly is. Put it this way, if I'm going over 65mph.. it's highly unlikely I'm going to attempt at having a conversation with the passenger lol

Well if you want to capure outside sound, it's better to have someone film from a small distance, instead of right up next to the car, since the audio will most likely just clip if you're too close. Some distance works better :D

But yeah, I get your point, I've put the idea of a N1 to rest, mostly :p

Video + db meter would work well, especially if there is a frame of reference to compare against.

Once I get a new hard drive at work, I'll put up the videos I've been collecting over the past 3 months.

Hi Guys,
I live in Australia and here we have noise restrictions on our cars. I really want a UEL header setup with an Invidia N1 catback but I'm afraid that without the silencers it will be too loud. Does someone have a db reading of how loud the setup is? It would really help me out. Preferably someone who has catless headers as I want Tomei UEL catless headers.

Thanks

I have only the front pipe and n1 set up both unresonated and no silencer, my friends would know if I'm a block away from them. Its pretty loud, but I love it. With cold start I would at least trigger a car alarm or 2. Hehe

Haha that's mad! Poor neighbors ;)
Can you tolerate the noise with the windows down while driving for long periods of time?

Thanks for the reply

Sounded good on a video, was terrible to drive with. Had the setup for about 15k miles before I switched over to the Perrin 2.5 inch. So much better, still loud when you get on it, and absolutely no drone.
