Hey everyone, this is my first post and I wanted to know about the MXP Comp RS catback. There isnt too much info on the forum but it seems to be well liked. I wanted to compare the loudness of it to say the Invidia n1. dB would be really helpful. I also plan on slapping on some UEL headers down the road so I wanted to know if its too loud after? I love the deep throaty sound and I want something with moderate loudness. Im wondering if the q300 is the better option rn. Not trying to break the bank either.

Thanks for the help!

Buy it man I've had mine for almost a year I've banged it up scrapping and busted a cv axle (you can imagine how dented the exhaust is beside it) and it still sounds amazing and no exhaust leak it's not loud unless you get on it but it will get some attention when you start up and pull in

Im running the comp rs as well with the mxp front pipe and stock header. as previous posters mentioned and can be loud at start up and it was a bit louder that what i expected.

Contemplating this CB...can any owners verify what the true inner diameter is of the midpipe section?

Probably super late on the reply for OP...

I had both the MXP header as well as the MXP Comp RS exhaust on my car in late 2014. Was testing some fitment for them.

With stock front pipe, it was loud.. as in "shaking the whole house during cold startup" loud.
With Berk front pipe, my ears were ringing.

How much louder would u say it was with just the header compared to with only the catback, with stock front pipe?

Huh?

Lol how much louder with the header on +catback vs only the catback. With stock front pipe. I have the comp rs and can't gauge how much louder a cat less header would be

It's like trying to gauge the difference between pit tickets at a metal show, and standing behind a jet plane as it takes off.

At some point you stop caring and you start looking at hearing aids.

Price of the Comp RS compared to other catbacks is very attractive. I know it's relatively loud and noticeable, but anyone know how this is for daily driving? Would it attract a lot of police attention? I've heard mixed things about it being on par with the N1 which is making me a bit wary.

The Works ABM is also at an attractive price. How does the MXP Comp RS compare to that? Anyone know?
