225/45 Bridgestone S-04. They run super wide so would almost be a 235 basically. very sticky. I got 25k miles out of a set

Thanks, but their section width is 8.9". Not significantly different than other 225s.

This is my DD set right now on 17x8 wheels. Perfect

In the last 70k miles on the car I've DD, the 215/45 primacys, 235/40 z2s, 215/45 Falkens and now the current 225/45 Bridgestones. These check all the boxes. And will probally get the car to 100k

Keeping the tread width closer to the rim width is going to make more of a difference than section width in responsiveness, for what its worth.
