Would it be worth it to take it into Toyota? I feel like they are instantly going to blame the intake or exhaust. I have gotten warranty work done to my transmission when it was leaking with all the mods on the car and they did not say anything.

I doubt the dealer will be able to help you in this case.

But, you could give them a try.

IF they've done work on the car before they should be able to work on it again, get them to diagnose it, intake and exhaust shouldn't effect anything.

Well, you could be right; it would be worth a try.

My thinking was that when they did the warranty work before, on his car, it was due to a transmission leak. His mods have little, if anything, to do with a leaking transmission.

Now the OP has an idle/stalling problem ....... while having an aftermarket CAI, an aftermarket header and an aftermarket tune.

I sure hope if he takes it in, that they fix it for him.

However, it wouldn't surprise me if the dealership would not address the problem, under warranty, because of the mods/tuning, which could affect the idle/stalling issue.

Oh I didn't know about the tune, If you have an ecutek tune you're not going to be able to get anything done and it's going to void the entire thing because the ecu is locked. You need to flash to stock before tomorrow.

If your car is tuned, this is a tuning issue IMO. I've had this problem before and the tuner was able to modify the tune so that it stopped happening.

I'm trying out a different tune I was sent. I've worked with steve99 and sending him logs and having him fix up everything for me because honestly I don't know anything about this. I'll drive some more tomorrow and see how it is. Then I will go back to the regular ots tune and see how it is since I've never had it happen with the regular ots tunes

Don't know if any value to you guys but can't hurt checking it out. The tranny has it's own control module so not sure if your engine tunes impact it.
