I have a t1i atm. 18-55 kit because I can't seem to sell it. 50mm 1.4 for walk around.. 55-250mm for the scenery shots I take whenever hiking/camping. I've been borrowing lens from my friends to see which works best since I'll be upgrading bodies soon. 60D, t3i or MarkDII.

I have the funds to purchase the MarkDII and 1-2 more L lens but.. problem is.. if the 86 comes out in a year I need the money for that and to probably for my school transfer soon. So I have about.. 700-800 ish saved as of right now for side "Fun" stuff.

Nice!! Mine came with the kit lens too and I've seen folks on FredMiranda practially giving them away. That's an awesome forum too BTW and have so many sweet deals.

Yeah, the steering wheel, seat, concole and game, you're probably looking at about $1500. I've gotten away with just the analog controller and if/since you have other hobbies, I say no on the steering wheel and yeah for the camera lenses. A PS3 is fun in all but nothing beats an awesome picture and most of the time, you only have that moment to capture it!

I say go for the glass! The FT will only get better as the years go by. I see no rush to get the 1st generation unless you have to. .02

I've never heard of Fredmiranda. I've been using "photography on the net" most of the time. Since most of them are pros and can probably give me more of a statistical advice than my friends can lol; however, I'll definitely give them a look.

I have the PS3 console. I really don't need the seat since I can just connect it to the desk I'm using now and lock the wheels of my chair in. Lol. I just need the steering wheel+peddles as well as the game.

There are pros on FM too! :happy0180: I'm sure majority of the members on POTN are on FM!

I'll give it a try. Only thing I'm not comfortable with is Canon users and Nikon users constantly arguing which one is better. Lol Or one side trying to convert the other. Its good to see there are other photographers on here. Haha. :>

That's what I hated about POTN was the irrelevant and immature brand loyalist on that forum. I guess I haven't really missed much. That's why I recommended FM since they are more exclusive and a mellow photography forum w/out all the b/s.

The classifieds is unreal! Majority of the members cycle through their gear very frequently so you'll probably find the best deals on bases w/minimal accuations and prime lenses for like 60% off new and only used for a couple months etc. I highly recommend that site over POTN anyday! :happy0180:

Sorry Ichi... carry on!! Vrooom, vroom! ;)
