great... that's what I thought... what company making a $20K car has different fender options? I thought it was just lost in translation.

+1 on the BRZ statement ^above... The STI concept does seem to have more aggressive side / rear... but the front looks gross (imho). But then again, we're comparing a real / live concept car in HD picture and video... to a scanned / phone-photo tiny picture of a training manual ...

2 weeks more guys... then the cards will be on the table (hopefully every card - pricing, availability, international info, etc.)...

1. Track stripped model (the one without painted bumpers, nice wheels, no sun roof, etc)

2. Smaller steering wheel with same OEM functionality (i.e. 330mm)

3. Harness compatible seats

4. Dare I say TRD weld in roll cage? I think I just did.

I registered just to make these comments

Whoa, thanks for your amazing contribution.

Nope. The IS250 uses a different gearbox. The one we suspect is similar to the JDM Altezza gearbox and is also used by Mazda and was used in the S15 and S2000.

Yup. And Even if it did, it certainly wouldn't mean that it would use the same ratios.

I think we'll just need to fit better trackpads and maybe braided lines and high performance oil, the usual stuff.

One of the good thing of a light, not too powerful car is that it's light on brakes and tyres.
The Clio 3 RS with the same power and weight has the Brembo as standard by the way, so do other cars like the Cooper S JCW, the Grande Punto Abarth Essesse...
The stock "junior" Brembo 4 pots are becoming very popular and inexpensive.

Well not all of us have that luxury. That being said, can you stroll up and get factory discount prices on discs and Calipers? :D

Page 19 ? depresses me ! They had to put a pic of the Toyota F1 car. Toyota why did you have to pull out of F1. Should never have given up. They were so close in their final year, the new f1 was already built. What makes it even worse that they would not let Stefan gp enter with Toyotas car as they knew it would win like brawn (Honda) in their first year. (can you tell I'm still not over it yet. Lol )

This last month of leaks has been the best ! Been drooling all over my iPad !

Maybe it's just me, but the BRZ STi does have much more aggressive rear fenders, compared to the smooth FR-S/FT-86 ones, right?

Or has lighting been messing with the that hard this whole time.

I'm just glad that I'm not the only person seeing it. I thought I was going a little bit crazy with people chiming in that I'm just seeing things.

1st: 3.79 / 39 mph
2nd: 2.28 / 66 mph
3rd: 1.52 / 98 mph
4th: 1.19 / 134 mph
5th: 1.00 / 150 mph
6th: 0.79 / 189 mph
(R: 3.47)
FD: 3.73

:laughabove:

yeah but the speedo will only go to 160 in the FR-S meaning that the gearing is shorter which is fine... how often do you go 160?......Even in my Supra I think I have hit that once or twice ( I hit 175 once) at an oval track and to be honest it was scary as hell even though the car felt solid having fun at that speed is all in a stright line-ish, fun is traking a car and seeing what you can do with it at lower speeds:iono: again power is fun but what is the breaking point of top speed when you never get there, and all the fun is between 0-80ish....:burnrubber::scared0016:

I hope the dash nav/radio is a standard 2 DIN, i'll just fit an Android-based unit, a OBD bluetooth thingy and have all the info about the engine, track logging, music and movies etc... and it will be AWESOME!

There's just too much to comment but about the weels, the 7.2 kg ones are 16"? What tyre size will they fit?

Gardus you read my mind... What android double din are you thinking about using?

If you simply want standard 2 DIN, get the Subaru, the Toyota is most definitely the Toyota standard size that is wider than 2 DIN. I still have a JDM 200X OEM Toyota Navi lying around somewhere and was thinking to put it in but I recently read that the TV tuner in it won't work anymore since Japan went all digital. (and what's the point of it if the TV doesn't work?) Any of you US peoples want to buy a Navi? haha

Oh no. If it were the front end, then I'd say you're crazy, but the rear of the TRD is definitely sculpted and defined like the BRZ STi concept. The FR-S has no definition at all. It flows like a waterfall from C-pillar to rear wheel well.
