What brake fluid? Whatever they sell at your local auto store - :)

See, life is simple for ol humfrz - :D

He's probably not wrong. Daily and autoX doesn't require anything special for brakes. Won't do you any good buying expensive stuff

Headed to a 86 meet last night with a bunch of locals. We were out in force, about 16 of us made it out.

Just prior to leaving I gave the car a wash with some new soap I just picked up; opti-coat no rinse. It really made the paint pop.
As I left my place I pulled up to a red light and I saw a guy in the car next to me snap his his my direction, then roll the window down and does a front to back with his eyes.
Guy -"DUDE.. NICE CAR! What is that?"
"it's a toyota 86"
Guy - "VERY NICE, It looks fast!"
It's quick enough, Handles great; Think MX5
The light turned green and he drove off and told me to have a great day.

what brake fluid do u guys recommend for daily driving and maybe a couple auto-x sessions?

I don't think you'd be able to boil standard DOT3 brake fluid in auto-x. That said if you have ever considered taking the car to the track and want to future proof; something like Motul DOT 5.1 does the job. I have a few bottles on the shelf waiting to go in.

My guess Is if the car is parked for a while depending on location ants could be a problem!

I drove my car up to the cottage for the weekend and it sat parked for a couple of days. I found ants all over the car when I got home.

Bingo. Our home plot of land has three nests, and we bombed the house a few days before I left. I was fearful they'd migrate to my car, even after I had just cleaned and vaccumed the inside. So far it looks like im just killing onsey, twosies

I think im gonna install the 50mm spacer today

Cleaned wheel with DUN (USA version of SONAX -same performance but with less stink) & a hosed powered tire brush, clay barred the entire FR-S then used Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax -incredible beading (not sure how long it'll last yet). Need to clean up the interior and hit it with Aerospace 303 anti-UV.

Took off my Cusco oil cooler (subaru style). Might finally get around to installing the AVO Turboworld oil cooler that has been sitting in the box for 2 years. Also currently book marking Toms tailights and blacked out badges on chrome.
