Congrats!! If you can justify the cost of gas, make a road trip out of it.

Car is sold, sad to see it go but for right now it's what I have to do. Really going to miss it, such an amazing car. I don't remember owning a car so capable and so inspiring to push.

I didn't, I was having issues with the aftermarket MAP sensor (car was misfiring). When I went home after the dyno I swapped it back to the OEM one and no problems. I never got around to taking it back up there for numbers. I'd estimate 250whp on 93 and 270whp on e85.

Thanks Bill! I might get back into a BRZ down the road if I don't splurge on a newer Cayman S. For now, I'll just have the V, do a few things to it and work on a few other things in life. The V is a cow, so heavy but rides so smooth and a ton of power and stopping force. Good grip but the tires can only do so much with the weight transferring around. I should get it to about 575-590whp on 93 here soon. I'm also going to set it up for flex-fuel which is another 50-60whp on top when e85 is in the tank! :burnrubber:

Farewell

The new owner came and picked her up tonight. I'll definitely miss the car. I had a ton of fun with it and building it with the upgrades. I hope my contributions were worthwhile, I enjoyed documenting my progress. This forum is such a great resource. By far the most informative community online. Perhaps down the road I'll get back into one but for now, enjoy yours, I'll be modding my CTS-V.

civicdrivr 06-26-2014 10:24 PM

Congrats again on the V!

Long live the LS!

Aww, shucks! Your BRZ was one of my favorites on the board. Nice acquisition with the Cadillac, though! Always liked those cars. Best of luck man!

Looks like the guy who bought it sold it to another fellow up in Ohio. I remember chatting with the guy at Mid-Ohio who just bought it. He wanted to buy it from me but already had it sold. Congrats to him and sounds like a guy who will enjoy it and be on this forum.

E85 does a CTS-V good too:

It's been a while since I've posted over here. I got a selfie stick for Christmas so I thought I might be the first to do a donut selfie. Enjoy!

When did you decide to go supercharger? After how many miles or so?

Sorry, been out of the game for a while. I'm sure they are abundant now.

If I remember pretty early on, maybe 10k miles or so. I don't remember exactly.

what kind of oil were you running and what kind of temps/pressure did you peak out at with the supercharger while on track ?

funwheeldrive 05-14-2016 06:42 PM

Is that a base Evora or S? How do you like it so far?

If I remember correct, I ran the factory weight but Motul V300. Here's the data on temps:

Did you ever get your Eibach R2 coilovers sorted out?

No, I ended up selling the car before I got around to it. If I'm not mistaken the buyer was able to. Eibach was very good about handling it.
