use something like SONOLASTIC NP1 to seal it

http://intuos.myweb.hinet.net/86/SONOLASTIC.jpg

ppl said that if doesn't get sealed, it might cause bad smell in the cabin and get rusty

Out of this thread, did you notice the gas pedal above?

djdnz 05-06-2013 03:52 PM

It's likely a pre-production model, hence why it has the heel toe accelerator pedal. I'm guessing they changed it for safety reasons. You know... Toyota being the company that had all those unintended acceleration issues, they probably want the pedals as far away from each other as possible.

@gtishtar: Awesome pictures! Who cut an FT86 in half?

@ricerocket93: That is a cool gas pedal.

Yes, a Toyota dealership will have it... Just provide them with the Toyota P/N... (Likely back-ordered though)

Mikepage 05-07-2013 09:13 AM

I just placed an order on it, it's available here and i can have it for tomorrow morning at 5$ each.

But why they just don't install it from factory?

Xdragonxb0i 05-14-2013 09:20 AM

Are the plug a sure fix?
They don't install because they use the holes for shipping.

Mikepage 05-14-2013 09:45 AM

I don't know if water come from these holes but am sure no water will come from there anymore with the 2 plugs intalled. Anyway for 10$...

Gettin my BRZ tomorrow...gotta make sure I get all these damn holes plugged...LOL

Mikem53 06-06-2013 11:21 AM

Went out in the garage and checked.. No grommets in the rear holes.
Drove down to the dealer and into the service bay.. Service rep says, oh they installed them on the front..
I told him what about the rear? I get a blank look.. I whip out my phone and show him the PDI page for the rear.. A tech comes out, pops in two plugs and I'm on my way.. Took ten minutes.. Best part was taking a drive to get there..
Bring on the rain!
