Gee.. relying on the driving line so much for proper braking.

Don't feel bad, you are not alone. I suck at braking on Gran Turismo too because I just cannot tell how fast I'm going due of how the camera works on that game. I'm sure I could learn to watch the speedometer, but that's just no fun for me.

I don't need the line for games like Grid and Dirt, but I have to have it on for GT.

Black flat surface. No detailing on the undercarriage, and probably for all the cars.

Lame. You make me sad once again GT5.

Anyway, having too much power on sport tire is not for grip race.

@Ichi, thanks for the one-on-one lesson on tuning the car. I learned a lot about the suspension settings now. Just need to keep on trying.

Thanks too! My G's suspension isn't fully setup the way I want, so just having few laps behind you helped to see where need to be fixed.

Did you look in my lounge and not your lounge? Cuz, I know for sure, when you were on, others were on my lounge. O'well maybe we might be do the same.

I should be on same time as yesterday, so message me for race!

You know thats what I did! I looked in my lounge thinking its one community lounge, didn't see anybody and went on to play NBA2K11. :bellyroll:

I did notice a slight glitch. On the Community row, my pic isn't displayed. But when I scroll down till my s/n isn't visible then scroll back up, my s/n pic is there. It does it on ID, A and B tabs every time. Are you guys seeing the same thing?! Weird ish! :iono:

most of the premium cars have fully modeled undercarriages.

If they did anything substantial I would like to see some Tsukuba lap times... they are generally fast in racing sims but add 5 seconds or so and it might be pretty close.

In real life or in GT5? Here's my time lap in GT5 @ Tsukuba
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...5/IMAG0091.jpg

but of course it's not stock. I've tuned it to max w full custom suspension. I'll buy another one & try to see

Update:
K, I just bought another FT86c (yes, I have now 3 FT86c & 2 G's FT86c). I ran 20 times (10 laps, take a break x2) and fastest time I got was 1:05.735 (if I didn't sneeze on last corner, would of shaved 0.2sec). Average time were around 1:05.8xx~06.6xx.

Lol sneezed hahaha
I borrowed a g27 from a friend of myn but quickly realized it's fortunate I didn't buy it cus my tv is in front of my bed lol no way to mount the wheel

Been a little bit busy lately, so haven't had time to jump on. I did put in an hour of practice last night and online races.

Ended my night (or should I say day, since it was like 2:00am), with finally a decent enough lap at the NurBurg. The lap was not 100% and I could shave off another full second or two when I learn the track some more. The first half of the track I have down, it's the Second half I'm learning now.

Nurburg Lap Time
FT-86 GSport 7:18.361

New Sector Section Drift Score for Tsukuba Circuit
FT86c 14,820pts

Hey give sick Jap some break. :bellyroll: I have some cold and sneezing like crazy for few days.

LOL that's funny. You can always change around to make it fit. I made my room to make sure to fit Playseat! Just the buying is different story. btw how different was it w G27 and regular controller?

I was running 1:06.XX on all stock except the middle suspension. No anti roll bar adjustment, and I just dropped it and went with -1.5/-1 camber front and rear, dampers 1 softer than max. A very 'stock' setup.

I figure it would represent an medium-ish tuned 'real' car (pessimistically assuming that the real car will be heavier and less powerful than the GT5 version).

Also a better player/driver could probably knock a couple seconds off my time with the same car.
