Oh great. We are talking about how to read the dipstick again. My favorite!
As for what I did today... Brake and clutch fluid change, single wheel lug replacement (rears suck) and that's about it. Was planning to install an oil drain valve, shifter bushing, and try out the rpf1s I got today, but I'll have to do that later this week. Also recently installed a master cylinder brace, 4" antenna, and an afe dry air filter. |

Got a new windshield after a vary small stone chip became a large ugly scar on the passenger side. :(
Only problem using the twin as a DD is the fact that you have to drive it on public roads. |

Picked up some filters today, gave the car a little much overdue TLC.
Air filter change was nice and easy using the guidance I remembered seeing on here about unbolting the airbox. Tried to do it without unbolting, got fed up with trying to get it to close cleanly. Will be doing the unbolting method from now on. I'm assuming the different part numbers have to do with Japanese vs. U.S. origin. Cabin air filter was nice and easy, and I got the only one my dealer had left in stock. Much smaller than I expected it to be, though. Can't tell in the pics, but there was a ton of debris and dead bugs in between the folds. The car's been on the road about 10 months, 15k miles, so I'm not surprised that it's due. Only other thing I did was vacuum the footwells. Driver's side was full of little pebbles that have been beating up my floormat underfoot and getting under the mat and into the carpet. |

Installed OEM black interior trim pieces and the interior trunk lid cover.

I like that look a lot better. The silver accents are in all the wrong places to me. It's a basic sports car, just let it be that.
No black trim for the uprights on either side of the HVAC section? |

I haven’t seen the upright pieces in black, and for completeness/best appearance, it should be done also. I’ll be keeping an eye out for them. Thinking of blacking out the TRD knob too, but haven’t figured out how to recreate the shift pattern in red, though I do have a knock-off TRD knob to experiment with. Considering these black door levers to replace the chrome: http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/toyo...l#.WcFgYcQlFzs |
