The stuff nightmares are made of... Wanted to darken the silver interior bits and add some texture, so I vinyl wrapped them. Took the opportunity to add some JDM door items and JPM speaker pads too. Probably should have cleaned the doors before pics.

Also wrapped my dash in Alcantara...

I did some vinyl work as well... Then I decided to adjust the clutch grab point and install the intech high point brake light that has been sitting in the car in its box for a few days... And in the middle of removing the "flying saucer" I got to go searching for a clip that dropped down into the frame...

I'm going to have to re-wrap the shifter trim though... I totally botched the inset for the traction control buttons. Damn vinyl started ripping...

Damn, you guys are good... I did my dash panel and it was a bitch!

Any tip on doing the inside or the hole area?

Man, I've been eyeing that high point brake light. How do you like it?

Patience and heat. You're looking at my second attempt... I stretched the whole piece across, heated it, formed/stretched, heated, form/stretched. Cut a hole in the middle, then as I went on I split the hole in a bit of a criss cross star pattern (looks like this -> *) as I stretched and allowed it to get bigger. Not sure if it makes sense, but that's how I did it.

I love it. It clears up the window so we'll! I dremeled off the tab that they want you to put over the headliner and instead used thin strips of 3M foam tape around the entire perimeter of the light to make sure it's not going anywhere.

My personal preference is to leave no square edges on the inner perimeter that you are going to be stretching. Square inner corners are what killed me on the shifter trim... It ripped as I was trying to stretch it, after I figured that out it was smooth sailing everywhere else.

doesn't look bad if you ask me, it seems a bit out of place though, kind of like those red rim protectors you put on the lip of your wheels :iono: I think if you isolated the red to bring attention to something specific like the tips instead of the whole diffuser it might look sharper but again by no means is it bad right now

Ojoshcaal 04-11-2017 09:26 PM

thanks for your opinion :) , okay i see what you mean, kind of just testing waters right now im still waiting on a lip and i was going to put some red to outline where the bumper and lip meet cause i put on the red jdm piston badges on the garnish and having only that being red kinda was off to me. so i wanna see how it turns out

Just a question and I bet I'm going to sound dumb but oh well. Why do people blackout their license plate?

Made this wild shift knob out of an old tap handle...

Probably not going to rock it regularly as its not as comfortable to use as the stock one, but turned out pretty good for a whacky spur of the moment project. It took a surprising amount of dremelling to get the adapter to fit in there, but Im pretty happy with the result. I didnt exactly buy this car to be taken seriously lol

Id use a dremel with a cutting wheel attachment. Just be a little careful, should be super easy

Normally you can swap in other parts and pay the difference in price if there is any. Accidents can be an upgrade opportunity with the repair shop of your choice.
