Um dude you know thats 10 series silver right?

Humfrz, my son is 8 but gramps hooked him up in the will. Im currently uh... "taking care of it" for him in the meantime. Once i stop farting around with this addictive little 4 banger, i have big plans for the stingray.
Ls swap to preserve the original 427, power steering, power brakes with wilwood binders, new suspension, maybe a nice plastidip to preserve the original paint...
Then its time for autocrossing and cruising up hwy 101 to the historic races at laguna seca. Eventually a run up pikes peak.
Bucket list stuff my dad and i would have wanted to do, gonna do it with my son. He loves cars too, its in the blood!
Kinda wish my dad liked old camaros or something with 4 seats though. My wife and daughter are shit out of luck! Lmfao!

Sounds interesting.

My younger brother, who lives in Hollister, CA has a 1967 Stingray, 327/350 which he restored. His last "mod" was power steering.....he's getting old ....;)

Oh heck, just send the wife and daughter down to Cabo for a couple of weeks and you and your son take off in the Corvette for Pikes Peak ......

humfrz

This is my wife and a fellow miata owner and his gal, we ran into on top of Pikes Peak ....... yes, it is a small world.

even with the brand new clutch in my cars doing the same thing as before its just not nearly as bad, going to take a look at the master and slave cylinders as well as the clutch pedal when i have time during the week

Shinchu 04-02-2017 08:55 PM

Dunno what it could be. Can you post a vid?

Here is what i did today.
Sorted ride height, added a couple more degrees of camber up front. Zero rubbing. Win.

Took out ALL the interior to find the "smell" It was TWO mouse nests (bathrooms) up above the headliner. Every time I opened the window, I would smell it horribly. I think they are getting in above the rear shocks. Any one else have this issue.

I love driving my car, but the smell had made it not enjoyable. I had time this weekend and a bottle. A bottle of FEBREZE!

@Leonardo,
oh man... ABOVE the headliner?!?!

my buddy had a problem with his brand new 2012 jetta.
they were chewing up the wiring harness for his engine.
he used a poison that makes them search for water (dehydrates them) and they die AWAY from the car, instead of INSIDE it, like one did in my mom's Tacoma. I had fun tearing apart her AC vents to find it.

bleh. good luck!

Had something similar, had a foul smell in the trunk after I had gotten the vehicle back from the dealer after about a week for some repairs. Found rat piss all on the floor of the trunk after I removed all the stuff. I washed it down and sprayed it with odoban worked great and I've also used it for the wet carpet smell. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...83a464b2dc.jpg
