Installed my Valenti Revos! sorry for the horrible pic but it was getting dark lol. I think they give the car a more premium look especially with the sequential turn signals.

First off, Sincho, thanks for serving our country ......

Secondly, as an ex military person, I don't think that military housing looks all that bad.

Nextly, I wouldn't park that nice car on the street.

As an ex real estate broker, I suggest you NOT buy a house, until you get out of the military ......generally, they are NOT a good short term investment anymore.

Old humfrz has spoke ......:D

Wouldn't a car that looked painted look more "premium"?

Just installed Tein Flex A coil overs Thanks to my New Sponsor, Race Consulting Agency.

http://raceconsultingagency.com

Hopefully with the hydraulic bump stop the ride won't kill my back.

You remind of "Neville Rogers" or whoever that got banned.

Did you make a new account?

Now for the method to my madness...
Military housing sucks when they take your entire housing allowance and force you to live in a dumpy 1600 sqft duplex with a one car garage (occupied by my sons 66 stingray he inherited from my dad exactly 2 years ago today, rip pop), only one car fits in the driveway, occupied by my wifes grand cherokee, and as of 45 minites ago, my car cant get up the driveway anyway cuz now its dumped tucking half the sidewall.

Why would i not buy a house? Im from san diego so im gonna retire here in 3 years anyway. I already owned up in temecula. Moved down here to san diego because my kids needed better schooling. Already looking and have pre approval with va loan plus money down from selling our last house.

Not so young shinchu has dropped the mic.

Oh, and i did something to my frs today.
Installed pbm rear lower arms. Pics tomorrow after i lower the front to match the rear.
Gonna need alignment for sure.

OK, your situation is a bit different than I had envisioned. I thought you were younger and subject to PCS about every 3 years. I didn't realize you had a driving age son, with a vintage car.

So, if you plan on retiring in 3 years and living in the SD area, it would make since to buy a house.

Captain humfrz stands corrected......;)

Um dude you know thats 10 series silver right?

Humfrz, my son is 8 but gramps hooked him up in the will. Im currently uh... "taking care of it" for him in the meantime. Once i stop farting around with this addictive little 4 banger, i have big plans for the stingray.
Ls swap to preserve the original 427, power steering, power brakes with wilwood binders, new suspension, maybe a nice plastidip to preserve the original paint...
Then its time for autocrossing and cruising up hwy 101 to the historic races at laguna seca. Eventually a run up pikes peak.
Bucket list stuff my dad and i would have wanted to do, gonna do it with my son. He loves cars too, its in the blood!
Kinda wish my dad liked old camaros or something with 4 seats though. My wife and daughter are shit out of luck! Lmfao!
