Do you have comprehensive and collision coverage? If you meant 1200 CAD then that's under 900USD which is really good considering your age. Here in the US if you lived in one of our most expensive states to insure (Michigan or Florida) you'd be paying like 4,000 CAD a year easily.

If you have full coverage that's awesome, but check if you're not sure! You definitely want it on these cars.

Today I made my own chassis brace for inside the trunk. It's not a rear strut tower brace, it is connected to the frame near the strut tower. I had a piece of aluminum bar laying around so I figured I'd put it to use. I need to weld the 2 frame bolts in place, but even as it is now- held in place by spring torsion, it's working fine and secure. But I'll feel better with those frame bolts welded in place. 3 hours of trying to break it and hooning around some back roads and so far so good.

Yes it has made a difference in handling too. Maybe it's butt-dyno effect, but going by what I hear in the tires (as opposed to what I feel in my seat) when cornering, the rears break before the fronts do whereas yesterday they didn't. It'l be a fun project to make right either way.

Got passed today by an Ablaze 15+ FR-S from Massachusetts on the way home from work on I-91S in CT. Didn't notice it was a fellow twin until it was mostly past me. Looked about as stock as I am. Nice to see others not afraid to drive these in the winter.

Installed an Invidia N1 exhaust and my enkei rpf1 in sbc just came in. Waiting for the Canadian weather to warm up before putting them on.

Got a full synthetic oil change at the dealership for only $39.99 then washed her up, dressed the tires and cleaned the engine bay. All in time for tomorrow night's snow -to be fair, car was filthy and I had time on my hands.

Yesterday I hit 60,000 miles. I bought the car new on 16 March 2015; I'm averaging a hair over 30,000 miles per year.

Where is the mic? I'm guessing somewhere inside the car, the sound is really good. Is it the stock exhaust?

It's an external mic right next to the exhaust which is just a track pipe ;)

Is that high pitch squeaking noise the sound of your pads on rotor? It almost sounds like a blow off, but you said stock class and it didn't happen every time you shifted. It threw me the first few times I heard it.

I just test fit my seat back panel door for my rear seat delete build... Fitment is really good!

I still have a few things to adjust and secure but I'm feeling good about what will be the final product... Also, I'm still looking for the right fabric/material to upholster all the panels.

Seat back panel door is hinged so it will open and close. I'm probably going to use Quick-Latch Minis to secure the door.
