Any plans to make the EQ settings a user-serviceable option? Those of us who want to switch between Robust and Full, for example, or when upgrading from Stock HU to Ca-Fi, or Joying, etc, would love an option to flash these changes via a laptop or something rather than shipping the amp back and forth.

@Nails, we'll put in a good word with Jolly Ol' St. Nick for ya. Likewise we're finalizing our "Black Friday" plans for this year. With demand for the NEW 450Q series and the made-to-order process - We are confident you will not find a better sound experience for the money.

With that said we'll send you a PM with the intention of personalizing your experience.

We completely understand the convenience of having a user-serviceable option. Due to the nature of all our components/electronics being OEM-Grade and utilizing proprietary software there is nothing in the works to allow for the end user to make EQ adjustments. We will however do everything in our power to ensure that any updates you wish to make to your O+ sound solution are as pain-free and seamless as possible in spite of the need for shipping to be apart of the process.

TO ALL OWNERS: Please send us a message or give us a call directly (855-636-6346) when you're considering having your system re-tuned we will do everything in our power to ensure you're dialed-in promptly and with little-to-no time without your system performing. Thank you!!

Here's a vote for the Front/Rear 4" speaker upgrade to be on the deals list!

Put me on that list as well. I finally got the settlement check from my accident, and now I just need to convince the wife I really need the 450Q and optional rear speakers.

Would it be in any way beneficial to sound quality to upgrade the head unit beyond the Pioneer Standard '13? If so, what would be the factors to look for?

Right now for input I use an iPod Classic through USB with mp3s encoded at no less than 320kbps.
Sometimes I'll use a phone for Spotify, although I still use the 3.5mm jack and not Bluetooth.

@oemaudioplus I've noticed a few posts from members that added sound deadening material to the FRS during the OEM Audio install. Is that something you recommend? Would it have a big impact on the sound quality from the system?

The O+ sound solution will be as good as the weakest variable in the vehicle In some instances this is the head unit, source material, insulation or speaker placement. Changing out the head unit can absolutely change the output characteristics of the system giving us a better foundation to build (tune) on.

With that said, we guarantee our high resolution signature sound with your factory head unit. So there is no NEED to upgrade, unless you desire to or are wanting additional features not offered with your Pioneer Standard.

Let us know how we can further personalize your experience.

Sound Deadening is not required to experience our signature sound reproduction. We have taken the factory insulation (or lack thereof) when evaluating the acoustics of the Toyota 86 / Scion FR-S / Subaru BRZ (200+ hours of in-vehicle acoustic measuring and tuning). The end result is our high resolution sound the moment you plug your O+ system in without any additional gear needed.

That being said. Will sound deadening add to the separation between the cabin of your vehicle and road noise, exhaust and other variables - YES.

Reach out if any additional questions or requests. However we can personalize your experience.
