You can order the projector only or order the full kit. Full kit is really the way to go.

im noob with a retrofit thingy, so when u do a morimoto retrofit, can u still use the HID kit u use in a halogen projector or the retrofit has its own ballast, and replacing the bulb to D2S?

The mini H1s use a an H1 bulb, and the kit can be purchased with or without the ballast.

If you decide to use ballasts that you already have, you'll need to get new bulbs.

After many days of rain, sometimes quite heavy, I am happy to say I have no leaks. Next I will take it to the car wash to be completely sure.

Which is better depends more so on which projector was used than which bulb type it takes.

In other words, I can't say which is better without knowing what projector was used.

That quad HID with the matchbox looks outstanding! Was there any cutting to do or did it fit right in?

There was quite a bit of cutting.. The socket on the projector is bigger then the hole on the housing, so I had to dremel that then dremel it flush .. Basically cut off the stock lightbulb mounting point of the stock housing
