Any updates on your project? All this oil pan talk lately has got me rethinking my GTO pan...curious on how your sikky pan will work out.

Installed the Holley cables and they fit nicely with the headers. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e32debb872.jpg

did you have a problem with the driver side header flange hitting the motor mount with this kit? I bought the same headers and I had to modify my flange to clear Vorshlags motor mount.

Nothing much new to report unfortunately, the shop has been very busy.

One of the flanges can't remember which side, does hit the motor mount. Will need to address it at the time.

Edit: It does not hit the mount.

CX Racing mounts will need a small spacer for clearance with the steering rack, remote oil filter system will need to have the fittings moved/modified/welded in a new direction to clear the steering rack, possibly will loose the front sway bar.

I saw and worked on the cat Saturday. I didn't take any meaningful pictures, but I needed to buy a low mount Corvette alternator bracket as the OEM one on the top was touching the ABS unit. Got it from LSsimple.net which were the only ones that made a lower bracket to use with Corvette accessories and Corvette alternator (Vette accesories run 3/4" offset in compared to any other LS motor accessories and the bolt pattern for the alternator is different than for any other LS motor).

Aditionally, installed Fullblown slim fans and shroud for more room up front. The OEM fans would have been able to be used but needed a bit of shaving on the fan mount. It seems I have plenty of room to run the AC and heater lines on the firewall.

Lastly, it seems the 1/4" spacer on the mount coupled with some minor notching on the oil pan will allow me to keep the sway bar.

The oil pan relocator fittings will need to be cut and welded with hard 90s to clear the subframe.

I was starting to wonder what happened with yours and dustins updates as I haven't seen anything in quite awhile. :) Glad it is working out for you.

I'll be able to retain the sway bar and will have enough room with the 1/4" spacer and a little notch on the oil pan.

To be fair with CXRacing, I'm not using their oil pan, I'm using the Sikky oil pan and the part of the oil pan that is hitting the steering rack is part of the Sikky pan, the CX Racing pan does not have the angles to support the tranmission cover on the back so if I had used the CX Racing oil pan, most probably it wouldn't be hitting the steering rack.
