Ah i see. Although isn't it "first come (to buy), first serve"? I've held items in the past for people only for them to not show up potentially delaying what could've been sold.

Well, I would have been willing to pay via paypal immediately to reserve my claim.

Technically, the first person to accept the offer is entitled to the benefits of the deal; until they violate some term.

So if the ad had said, must pick up today, and the first person to accept indicates they can't pick it up, the seller would be able to contract with someone else.

It's not a big deal; I just thought it was lame.

I sent a message to @YouShallKnow about meeting tonight. He said he's in Torrance and I was heading to Marina Del Rey at around 5PM for work, so I thought we could meet there.

By this time, I already told another person that I am waiting for @YouShallKnow's response. But the other person was down to buy it tonight.

Because I had to head out from home to Marina Del Rey, and didn't get any response from @YouShallKnow, I contacted the other person that he can pick it up tonight.

It was my mistake to just go ahead and sell it to the 2nd person in line, but I was also hoping to sell it quick.

I should've made it clear about how fast I wanted to sell.

I called @YouShallKnow and let him know what happened, because he sounded upset on the text message he sent me. I didn't want to make him mad or anything. I apologized.

Once again, sorry @YouShallKnow, I could've handled the situation better or better prepare for the sale.
