I have seen some STi owners where the "always use a condom" warning is about 17 to 30 years too late!

Pretty crazy that the US is a MT holdout for the STI.

My wife has made it clear that if we were to buy a new car, it had to be automatic because she can't drive a manual :( And she doesn't want to drive one, either. She's not a car person. She just wants to drive in comfort and not have to think about switching gears or anything. I currently have to drive her around most places we can't get to by transit/bike/walking, which I don't mind too much.

I'd consider the WRX but it would have to be an automatic version. No STI :/

Lol my wife is the same way. I'm lucky enough to have multiple cars.

My wife misses having an MT, as we don't currently have one in the Hawk fleet. I suppose I should consider myself lucky in that aspect.

Same here. She likes cars (our E90 335i Msport is her baby), but has no interest in learning MT.

Same here. When I got my FRS- she said auto sports car or no sports car at all since she doesn’t drive stick nor have any intentions to learn. She likes comfort over all else.

Funny because I am a huge car guy and worked at Hyundai, Fisker and Toyota corporate for many years and now with a large automotive dealership group. She prefers shoes and purses. Lol

I disagree. The US driving enthusiasts are more rabid and vocal about having manual transmission options than any other country.
