http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...h/DSC01334.jpg 94 Prelude VTEC (sold), just a header and drop in filter. Only had it for about 4 months, wish I never sold it though. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...00788plate.jpg 03 Acura CL Type S 6MT (daily), the leech of my bank account. I love the car, but I spent way too much on this FWD pig. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...L/fd17a2cc.jpg I also have a 90 Civic hatch thats completely stripped with a cage that was going to see a K20, but that project stalled. |

Wow looking at all these posts, I am jealous. Super Jealous.
I had a 1999 Plymouth Neon(What a piece of shit I had. But I was 16 and I was a freshmen in High School, So I could care less and the price was right. $0) I brought a 1979 Mercury Carpi, worked on it throughout my senior year then drove it for three months before I moved out to San Diego. Now I am taking over my dad 2008 Suzuki SX4. For a Suzuki, I really do appreciate the car. I get so much shit because I drive a Suzuki but I really don't care. I am happy I am driving a car I can drive forever(Granted you will say, No that thing will die out when you hit 60,000. Well It won't, I do all the maintenance on the vehicle.) My dad has $100,000+ dollars worth of Snap-On Tools at the house that I used. I am complementing if I should get another car when I do my Europe/Japan trip after college. I might wait a year or two before I get another car or just drive my Suzuki til the end of days.(Until I have kids?) |
Last 2 cars I've owned:
2009 Subaru WRX STI http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6077/...fa23b32d_b.jpg 2011 Volkswagen GTI http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6182/...fd18ccd0_b.jpg Next up, 2013 Subaru BRZ...? ;) |

So what's your opinion on these different cars? I would think that the really powerful and grippy cars like the M3, 911, and GTR wouldn't be as fun. So which car did you find the most fun? And how did the Porsche engine compare to the engines in the M3 and GTR. Or what's your favorite engine. :thanks: |
81 Scirocco w/G60 swap. 200ish hp and 2000ish lbs. Very fun...
86 GTI w/16v swap 79 528i... Car was amazingly clean, but swore off German cars finally after this. few very boring Hondas 2007 STI 2011 Legacy |
83 toyota camry sedan AT (wont believe me but i got it go over 130 on interstate)
68 chevy c10 (350v8 with a powerglide, so loud you cant hear the tires burnning off lol) 99 BMW 323i sedan(first sports car in the family, its fun to drive but showing her age) |

I have to say you are right neither the M3 GT-R or 911 have been fun cars its funny that the cheaper cars have always put a smile on my face while the other cars just seem to do their job very good. Its kind of like the foolish guy in the office you want to fire him because he kinda sucks at his job but you would miss his silliness around the office so you fire the stuck up idiot who does everything right because he is just no fun at all. GT-R engine has been my favorite though instant torque and so happy to be modified mine made 640whp :). The M3 engine likes high rev and feels a bit like a honda down low no torque until you rev the crap out of it, the boxer engine in the porsche is great as well instant torque but my fav is the GT-Rīs power house. I still kinda miss that instant torque and highway power from the GT-R but ive become a track whore and have realized you do not need tons of power to have fun in a race track thats why i sold my s14.5 and i am buying an FR-S such a well balanced car.:burnrubber: |
