aaaaaaaannnnnnnnd the Scion logo takes the steering wheel center

Well I know what I'm going to do

Import a 86 steering wheel or Nardi whichever becomes available first

Ugh. Look at the watered down interior :(

No Push button start
No Dual Climate Control
No Heated Seats.

FR-S looks like it's the low spec car. Subaru is high spec.

Yep, the US got f%cked again.

This was discussed awhile ago but we all hoped it wouldn't be true. Very disappointing.. instead of saving Scion, Toyota may have just stuck the fork in...

The FRS will come in at a much cheaper price though, this is what you guys begged for, probably will start around 22k

I'll be curious to see the factory options for the scion before I make any judgements.

the FRS is no doubt the low spec being that the subie comes with a lot standard, but I wonder if you can build an FRS to make the subie in terms of extras

IMO perfect, I didn't want that stuff anyway. :D

Definately cheaper but if you want what the high spec offered.. well it won't be cause you'll be at the Subie dealer :P

Maybe, but at a similar cost?

And resale will automatically be less since the base price will be less, options don't value in nearly as much as the base msrp for resale.

I like the overall car, and i expected it to be watered down, since the price was supposed to be low and since scion sells 1 trim level. The only thing that disapointed me was the tiny exhaust and the climate control buttons were changed to those cheap knobs

VenomRush 11-30-2011 11:10 PM

the taillights dont look chromed out.... sweet

rL-gT 11-30-2011 11:10 PM

You just cant Install The Factory Push Button Start :(

Sigh. Was really hoping for that feature. I can live with out the HVAC and Heated Seats.

Dragonitti 11-30-2011 11:10 PM

The tails look better with the additional red marker on the side. And that color red doesn't look to bad. At first the red on the GT86 looked sorta flat to me and didn't pop. But looks good here...then again, it looks rendered. Push start is gone, perhaps will be an optional add-on. The 2011 tC has push start option. The headlights I'm happy with not having the GT86 LED cause I didn't like that (like the BRZ's only).
