I installed my STI start button from my 20. I also installed my flexible v-bars. While I had the dsh apart I went ahead and removed the engine speaker that was right there.

I also found a quick and easy way to unplug the active sound control(engine noise speaker computer). Open the passenger door, remove the side panel and the plug for the unit is right there. I was able to get a couple of fingers in there and dialed the plug. See the attached photos.

Mine's on the Pilot Sports and oh my god, this thing will not break loose unless you go full send, which is never on the street. Super satisfying but with a small hint of disappointment as drifting empty corners and roundabouts at 20mph used to be a favorite pastime.

PS4 tires as well. I feel the hint of disappointment as well. Don’t really want to go back to 17’s but the primacies are such a good tire for this car.

On the other hand I can’t wait to send it at AutoX

Installed the MTEC Clutch Spring. Feels good, once I get used to it, I think it'll be really nice. Also, for those of you who have installed this, how many tries did it take for you to get the retaining clip back on at the end? About a dozen for me, while standing on my head...

Installed badge overlays from Premium Auto Styling for a 15-21 WRX. They fit perfectly, front, rear, and steering wheel. I quite like the gloss black.

Got my OEM mudflaps in. They look nice, and I really need them with the weather right now. Install will be this weekend likely.

Thoughts on the rear seats for kids? Are the rear seats really smaller/more cramped than in the 1st gen?

I took mine to ECR on Saturday, got down to a 2:21.1 with a completely stock Premium edition on the Primacies with the stock brake pads (completely burned them up, upgrades come in on Thursday and I might head back this Saturday).

Great set of laps! I had a feeling this thing could do low 2:20's out of the box. I can't wait to get out there with brakes that actually inspire some confidence after a few laps, but I don't think I'll make it back out to ECR until April. Let us know how those upgrades work out if you go next Saturday.

Nice driving! I don't know the track but it looks like a really fun one! Did you know the red Porsche in front of you or was he just pulling one of those "Eh, he's far enough behind me, not gonna bother with the point by"?

The Porsche was another one of the instructors, he never really impeded me and I knew I didn't have the brakes to do many more fast laps before I'd have to reduce pace to cool the brakes. I was a full 10s slower than I usually run, so I wasn't worried about getting point bys and was more concerned about holding up the other people in the run group.
