Might. With forced induction, a lot is a MIGHT. That's far more steep than the 2k you can pay for an extra 20 ponies on a light weight car and keep it as reliable as it was stock for its lifetime....

He got lucky then. His 04 lasted most of the cars life and gave out after about 13 years, after which I replaced his whole unit with an aftermarket stereo.
