It’s not. I had the same thing. Take off everything so you can see the boot. My bet is it’s the 2 pins and that you didn’t bend the thin bent retention bracket correctly so it’s not holding the top...

Edit for all who care. Fixed it by tightening the stud that holds the plate, it's the nut right next to the one that holds the main power lead. My stud was crooked so the plate wasn't fully held...
