CarPlay is all you need. I rooted my CC3 and installed an app that auto launches the CarLink app as soon as I start the car so I literally just get in my car and drive and never plug in the phone.

The fact that this happened all of the sudden leads me to believe it's the relay. The horn and AC use the same relay, just swap them and see if you end up with a working AC but randomly failing horn.

When I rebuilt my engine around 94k miles it was drinking oil. Now I’m at 136k and it’s not drinking a drop. We will see if that lasts. The reasoning behind the hard breakin makes since to me though....
