yea, it's not about 'looks'.

that's how razor thin they are from not meeting the standard, that extra force in the motor from a different oil viscosity is enough to pass/fail a motor to cafe...

Car builders tend to recommend very light oil because the tiny little benefit they get looks good for the government on their CAFE standards. Someone posted an interesting thread here recently...
