I have these currently and I'm on my 2nd set actually. I personally really like them for the street and I also have not felt any twitchy-ness in the rain.

Well you might be rubbing because the 235/40 tire is a lot taller than your winter tires. For your Summer tires get 245/35 or 255/35 (which has more choices) and you'll be fine and shouldnt rub.
