That and shouldn’t he also do a compression test? If he can spin the engine then maybe nothing major is wrong, but a compression test is necessary to confirm nothing subtle is wrong, right?

I suspected that it wasn't the throw depth. Drag symptoms occured regardless of the throw depth. The clutch appears to have plenty of dead pedal throw length.

I agree with FRS Justin. You won't get any Ram air but a good supply of cold air is beneficial. I'm not familiar with the kit but if it's getting fresh air (e.g no warm air after the radiator etc)...
