I know I keep saying that...you could also try BRAID wheels in 16 inch sizing since they're pretty beefy.

Spot on. Lightweight wheels are well and good for street and track, but if you do any sort of off-roading I'd opt for strength over weight.

Update: Initial feel of the car after alignment is basically like oem, but smoother (i'm guessing because of the shocks). The springs are frs oem rates, so nothing much has changed, but 1.5" taller....

I'm not a fan of 2 piece driveshafts. I could always feel the play in the center bearing at low speeds. Changing to one piece made it much smoother. I did the same thing with my Isuzu Rodeo years...
