Tip: support the axle.

For aligning the replacement axle:

swivel the spindle+hub to the font as much as possible. Stick a piece of wood between the spindle and the coil-over to keep it out of your way.

engine lift helps make room w/aftermarket parts

FWIW -- if you have aftermarket parts crowding the engine bay (SC, catch can etc etc) --the 'lift one side of the engine at a time' method works.

Good drive route north of Ojai: Bitter Creek

There is a really good rural route along Hudson Ranch Rd running east from the 5/Frasier Park to state Hwy 33 which leads south to Ojai and the 101.
