We have a rapidly growing new class in the PacNW called PRO86. This is a W2W class with the ICSCC with a focus on fun, reliability and low OPEX.

FUN:

Added power! Header/Exhaust/Tune/100octane. ~200rwhp

Less weight! Min weight of 2775lbs.

RELIABLE:

Stock Engine/Trans/Diff

Upgrades where it counts: Alignment, B16 Coilovers, sway bars and brakes!

Low OPEX! (operations expense)

4 Pot brakes - longer life between pad/rotor replacement, cheap discs and pads!

200TW tires!! 17x9 wheels and 245 Hankook RS4s. Low cost, lots of heat cycles and wide enough for enough grip!

Keeping the engine and drivetrain stock keeps costs down - no porting, no fancy pistons, no expensive engine builds. If it ain't stock, it ain't legal.

CROSSOVER:

ICSCC: PRO86

SCCA: STL (change wheels and tires, etc)

LuckyDog: These cars are expected to be allowed next year.

In 1 year we went from 3 cars to 6 and will be at or above 12 going into next season. All the development is done - don't waste money on R&D, we even have the tuner and the tunes.
