Fortune Auto 500, ST, or RCE Tarmac O?

Looking for coil-overs in the $1,000-$1,300 range.
-from what I've gathered the F.A. 500 are maybe the best out of ST, RCE Tarmac 0, and even Blistein B14, and I would like adjustable camber (FA 500 include camber plates.)

What's do you guys think? would ST's with camber plates be better?
I drive mountain roads often, Auto X and want a good balance of performance.

I like stainless steel (though, other people will have diff priorities/preferences)...so, for me at least, RCE or Bilstein.

Send a message via AIM to Racecomp Engineering
How much camber are you planning on running?

RCE T0 and ST have a slotted lower mount, so they are adjustable for camber.

I love my Fortune auto 500 (9k/9k swift and radial bearing upgrade) and I am glad I got a coilover with camber plate without them I wouldn't be able to get more than -2.0 front (even after 1.5" drop)

I'm a huge fan of Bilstein products, but their US-specced PSS coilover kit comes with progressive spring rates. Depending on the type of driving you do, you may not like them. Using their lifetime warranty is a very pleasant experience. You definitely get some quality dampers at this price range of coilovers.

From my experience (also from my peers' experiences) with KW V1 vs. ST, although some may claim the ST are the same as the KW V1 but with the only change being the strut body material/coating, the ride comfort can be different for the same application. The KW V1 sometimes ride better than the ST in the same application. I'm not sure if this is a difference in spring rate or in valving.

I really like how RCE and Fortune Auto do business. You'll be fine with either of those two.

I suggest taking a look at ISC Suspension. They are also in your price range, and they offer a ton of options with a good warranty as well. They include camber plates as well.

Performance and price? Most times, when talking higher performance, you gotta pay to play, but there is a point where you may see diminishing returns.
Performance and comfort? They usually go hand in hand. You would think high-end, expensive suspension with high spring rates would ride harsh on the street, but not always.
Performance and features? Performance > features. To me, when putting money towards anything suspension related, dampers should get the highest priority.

Fortune 500 are a great value. I track a couple times a year and I wanted a coilover that was reasonably priced and adjustable. That turned out to be the FA 500's. I told them the type of driving I do, on what type of roads, and they helped me decide on spring rates and then valved them appropriately. Their customer service is great.

I got the gen5 fa 500 after leaving bc coils. They ride way better on the street. On track there wasnt a huge differance.i was running the same swift springs on both of them but they are very controled and predicatable. The adjustments in rebound are very noticable
