I am selling my Colin Smoked Tail Lights. I am asking $160 shipped to your door.


About the Lights:
These are smoked lights. They are very visible during the night, but during the daylight if the sun is shining on them just right it is difficult to see the lights. I wanted to point this out now so you are aware of it. I have had them in my car over a year and I have never been pulled over, nor have I had any complaints about them. I haven't been rear ended or been in any accidents because of them either. It is something to keep in mind though.

I purchased and installed the lights in late December of 2012. The lights have been on my car since their initial installation. They have given me no issues and look as good as they day they were installed. There are no scratches, no fading, no condensation or any other cosmetic issues.

The lights also have a custom gasket glued with weatherproof glue to prevent any water leaking into your car (trunk and eventually into backseat). This happened to me before I purchased the gaskets, since their addition all leaking has ceased. You can see the glue on the backside of the lights, but it is only visible during installation because it is on the backside and is completely hidden from view. If you are really OCD about it, it can be rubbed off pretty easily.

A special note about these lights is that they needed a wiring readjustments to work correctly in the states. I have already made this adjustment as well. You can see the adjustment I had to make in the pictures I have attached. They work exactly how they are supposed to work now.

These are boxed in a box specifically for FR-S lights and can be shipped the same day payment is received. I typically ship with the UPS store so I can give you a tracking number as well.

I just wanted to reply and publicly answer some questions I have received so far.

The lights are smoked from the factory, I didn't smoke them. The smoked effect is not painted on. The outer shell that covers the lights is the tinted to achieve the smoked appearance. Therefore the tint will not fade nor can it be removed.

In the pics where the lights are lit up, that is how they look when the lights are on. I live alone and I don't have a way of getting a brake shot or a turn signal shot. I will find a video though. Rest assured they are 100% functional with no issues.

They only take about 10 minutes to install. Each light has 4 nuts (used from your current lights) that screws onto pre-installed bolts. No special tools are needed, just a 8mm socket wrench.

The gaskets I have installed can be taken off I guess. I'm not sure why you would, because like I mentioned previously, water will seep into the trunk without the gaskets.
