FRS Seat Material?

Does anyone know what the seats are covered in? I want to use 303 Fabric Guard as a protectant, but it is not safe on synthetic suede.

303® Fabric Guard should not be used on synthetic suede, not because of the product itself, but because of the carrier, Odorless Mineral Spirits (OMS), a mild solvent. As a general rule, even mild solvents should not be applied to rubbers & plastics. Synthetic suede is a plastic.

Do you have the monogram alcantara seats, or the base model seats?

Base model seats are upholstered in fabric and are not made of faux suede (alcantara). This fabric has a very fine nap, so it is understandable why it can be confused as faux suede. You can treat these seats as you would with any other fabric seat. Faux suede (also known as alcantara) can be found in the FR-S monogram and BRZ limited models, which do have specific maintenance requirements.

Just do a test on the back seat fabric. Should be safe its not pseudo suede.
