Pillar Damages

So... As you guys know my car is currently in the shop being repaired from a rear end accident..

They reassure me that there is no suspension damage at all. nada, 0 , nothing.

From the pictures, does the wheel seem a little crooked? Or is that normal?

Just wondering from the picture I took before, is there any C Pillar damages that can be seen?

The C piller is your back one by the rear window that is all kinked up so....yes. there is C pillar damage

Count pillars front to back. A - B -C. you have damage on the C.. Suspension damage may not be there - your tires do not look crooked. Plus the shop has no reason to lie, if you are insured, it is more paid work for them anyway

I'm surprised they did not totaled it. I have seen FR-S and BRZ will less damage at salvage auctions.

As someone who has owned 2 repaired TL's with way more damage than this

Probably yes, it will be the same. Good mechanics and body shop people have jobs for a reason after all.

That all depends on the state, size of insurance company and insurance level purchased. Some places will repair a car up until 2/3 of its value. All depends.

This would be a great time to do some upgrades like dynamat, adding a bulb in the reverse light housing for the rear fog, and sealing up the tails. Maybe even some sound upgrades too.

Those are not the actual pillars, its part of the Quarter panel / side aperture since that the outside skin sections.

You're right, the pillar is inside, the skin is damaged. I could not say if the pillar itself is. My mistake.

You're ride quality/performance should be exactly the same. It doesn't look like there is any frame, chassis, or suspension damage. Looks mostly cosmetic/sheet metal damage.

You need to stay out of the shop and let them do what they do. Worrying and questioning will simply slow down the process. RELAX
