Red face Carrozzeria's Scion FR-S Project!

Hello!

Some of you have talked to us before and know we were in the market for a project FR-S, for those who haven't; Hello! We are Carrozzeria Carbon in Washington State.

Plans for this car are not set in stone so I will leave it alone for now but really we just want to have some fun with it!

The car is a 2013 automatic transmission (I know we'll get heat for this) used Scion FR-S with 44 miles, yes, 44 miles. We were a little weary about that as we couldn't understand why as a used vehicle someone traded it in before even needing gas for the first time. But after having it checked out and car fax looked over it all checked out so after a week or so it showed up this morning!

More pictures coming soon!

- Jesse Ian

Welcome! I'm looking forward to what you guys do with her...

As for the 44 mile used car thing,

Maybe an intermittent CEL scared someone off...who knows

Could have just been someone who bought the car without wifey's approval and she made him take it back, haha.

Could have been a loaner car while somebody was waiting for a custom-ordered FR-S or a 2014 one. Gives the dealer a chance to sell a very lightly used new car.

Thank you! And both very good points on the reasons for not keeping it.

The car drives great, still has the floor mats in the trunk in plastic, we are very happy with it!

Will take real pictures and have updates soon!

Few more pictures from when we unloaded it from the trailer! Its trip from Cali got her dirty so we used the first miles to go fill up the tank and give her a nice detail! Engine bay arrived as clean as it shows in the picture, more just the outside!

A customer ordered the same seats as us, his came in first! So here is the seats for our FR-S (Just, waiting on ours :P)

There is a part of us that is wondering if we will switch to Recaro or Bride, but we love these seats so far!

Let us know what you think

We are super sad to hear about PasswordJDM shutting down, we have always been a supporter and love their products. So we snatched up the strut bar and canards (inner and outer) for our FR-S (will post personal picture when they arrive)

We will be working with CKS Suspension for this build, we love their products and can't wait to try them out on the track! We will not be going with the cup-kit model as most have seen from CKS, again another great product but just not the direct we are going with this (They are being built for us so details are still being worked out, personal pictures once they arrive!)

The last thing I can update you all with on our build is we have teamed up with Vortech Supercharger! We are very excited to run their product on our car and see what kind of fun we can have with it on the track

That's it for now! Personal pictures of each product will be posted as they arrive!
