Ace Muffler + Theory Werks Scion FRS @ other side of the world

Hey guys,
a little back ground first

I currently work with a local (Taiwan) rally team here that races in Taiwan and China. In Taiwan we only race for fun because our driver/boss wants to, so here we race as "Theory Werks" and have a private shop that primarily work on Subaru cars, but in China we are sponsored by Giti tires to compete in the China Rally Championship.

This is our Taiwan's race car, started out as a WRX and looks like the least modified car in the line up. Truth is this is probably the most extensively modded rally car racing in Taiwan right now.

And here is our car in China, nothing special about it... built by Prodrive and been our car for years.

Anyways... back to the main story! Recently I started working with Ace Muffler, known better in the VW Beetle scene as Vintage Speed, on their newly acquired FRS! This is a pretty rare car in Taiwan, since we only get AT version from Toyota for 50k USD and 53k for MT only available on the BRZ. Needless to say I am pretty excited about this, if I ever move back to the States, this is exactly what I wanna get!

Here is the car when we first got it...

and the first mod TE37SL 18x9.5 , +45 offset.

HKS coilovers (still waiting on brakes, should be here soon!)

Heres the car running at my local Kart track.

([ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWLjQOI4X0U"]heres [/ame]a video of me at this track, very small but fun!)*

And here's two pics (will have more in series when he is done) by a fairly well known photographer friend of mine here in Taiwan, gonna just link his facebook picture and warn beforehand that its NSFW
PIC1
PIC2

Will post more updates later when I get them, and since my other job is to help western companies find manufacturers here in Taiwan that actually does high quality job, will hopefully be posting some product prototyping for this car too!

Cheers!

Did you put the Scion badges on the car? Or was it sold that way? And actually surprised they're selling the BRZ in Taiwan, I swear it was 86 only. Anyway always nice to see more there! I kept seeing a Nur-Spec one when I was in Taipei two months ago

Since Taiwan only get AT from Toyota... and we didnt want to pay extra from an already hiked up price for the MT BRZ, we just imported our own, so it came with the Scion badge stock

They are right? He kept it a surprise when he ordered the wheel for the car. When I saw it all I can think about is "will he notice if i swap this onto my own car" :P Now we are just waiting for the AP calipers so it doesnt look too empty with the stock one in there right now.

Also put the car on the scale and weighed it as is

pretty damn good stock!

Oh, and for the peeps that like rally

Haha very nice. My friend here in California sold his brz to someone in Taipei. I don't remember what the overall cost was compared to buying one directly there but I assume it was cheaper to import as well.

Our calipers are here!

Big thanks to @CSG Mike from Counter Space Garage for the quick delivery

Also did a quick install for the Racepak IQ3 because we got a few extra laying around. I basically extended the screw on top of the dash and velcroed the bottom part, trying to not drill or destroy the interior... yet.
