FRSFirestorms's FR-S

Loving the car. I've only had it about 3 weeks now.

Planned mods for now.

Wheels/Tires - http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25686
Slight Drop - Done - 5/18/13
Window Tint - Done - 3/2013
Rear Spoiler
Short Shifter - Done - 4/2-13
Suspension bits -http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...257#post664257
Full Exhaust - Perrin header back. Done 4/20/13
Forced Induction
Toyota Badges
Koni Adjustables - 6-14-13

The day I bought it. 12/15/12. Greens Toyota in Lexington, KY

Enkei PF01 with Michelin PPS 1/5/13

January 11, 2013
Took advantage of some extremely warm January weather today. In the 60's. Installed the Perrin shift bushing, Whiteline rear trans bushing, swapped back to the OE wheels for the winter. and swapped the trans oil for some Pentosin.

The installs weren't too bad. The rain and getting the car up in the air on my inclined driveway along with crawling around under the car were pains in the ass.

Thanks. FI will happen way down the road. Right now I'm just following some of the kits beign developed. It will be a supercharger as I have experience with them. Roots style preferably.

My last toy. Eaton MP112. 10psi, methanol injection, small shot of nitrous, and I did all the tuning and wrench turning.

A 5000 mile update.

I've done a few mods. Suspension bits, shift linkage bits, and trans fluid change. I've removed the exterior Scion badges and now sports Toyota badges. Along with removing the FR-S emblem on the back deck. I've also installed the rear deck lid mat.

I'm having the windows tinted today. Have Eibach springs, front camber bolts, and rear adjustable camber control arms on the bench ready to be put on.

I've got a resonated Perrin header back system on order here soon.

I've got the bits to install fog lights ordered and on the way.

The car is generally running better with time. The idle dips that were pretty substantial from new have gotten better. Less frequent and less severe.

Grind, clunk on shifts to second gear are getting better. Smoother.

I've gained a rear deck area rattle in the last couple weeks.

Broke my rule today having the windows tinted and was reminded again why I try and do everything myself.

They broke the rear brake light. Suppose to buy me another. Left a screw out of the right door panel, I hear it rolling around in the cup holder when I drove home. Mangled the door panel grab handle covers and the tint is already peeling on the drivers side at the bottom. They didn't get it all the way down in the door panel. Can't say for certain as I didn't wash the car and its been a while since I have but there are scratches and a couple chips on the top side of the rear quarter panel. I bet they dropped a tool on it.

Installed a Kartboy short shifter today. Nice upgrade. Shifts feel more precise. Shorter throw obviously and seems to have helped with the 1-2 notch/grindy shift.

Perrin Exhaust today. Header back. Catted non-resonated. Louder than I like but it may grow on me.

AFE air filter today. Between the exhaust and the filter I swear I feel some ponies set loose.
